My foray into education started in a variety of informal settings, dating back to my teenage years and has included summer camp counselor, search and rescue instructor and educational programs at Sea World Orlando. While in a transitional stage in my early twenties, I had the opportunity to become a science teacher at an alternative education school for juvenile offenders. It was tough, tiring, exciting and rewarding at the same time. In 2001, I made the switch to my current school, and I haven’t looked back. This small independent school in Tampa, FL has allowed me to interact with students and help to provide them with a world class education in a multitude of ways.

From the science classroom, to the lacrosse field, to the mountains of North Carolina, I have had the opportunity to not only teach, but to also learn and collaborate with students. Additionally, the opportunity to work with and collaborate with such a talented, intelligent and genuine faculty is beyond compare.
